Join VMBA and Slate Valley Trails for our 2nd annual Learn to Bike event! We are thrilled to offer free clinics and bike rentals for adults 18+ who want to learn to ride, or are looking to hone their skills. We will have a fleet of demo bikes so don't let not owning a mountain bike stand in your way.
We will have two sessions: Morning (9 am-11am) and Afternoon (1 pm-3pm) with certified instructors from our region.
Each session will have options for you, no matter what your experience is.
Option 1. New to riding: you've been on a bike a few times, but don't feel comfortable quite yet. This lesson will take you on dirt paths and teach you bike-handling skills
Option 2. New to mountain biking: You feel proficient on a bike, but want to expand your comfort zone to trails. We'll teach you the basics of riding single track
Option 3. Improve my mountain biking: You've been on a mountain bike before, but want to progress. This is the chance to progress your riding to the next level!

Lunch will be provided. When you register, you'll be able to provide any dietary restrictions.
