Appearing at Goodrich Memorial Library on National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day, NEK-based author, Tanya Sousa, will present her latest children's book, a heartwarming and thought-provoking true story of how Simba, the beloved dog that her family had rescued from a shelter, ended up rescuing Tanya and her sister!
In addition to reading her book aloud, Tanya will talk about the inspiration for this book, share her writing process, and answer questions from kids and adults alike!
