What VT is Doing for Climate Action & Sustainability

Brooks Memorial Library will host a panel discussions to observe Earth Day and spotlight sustainability efforts statewide. Wondering whether it makes sense to buy an electric car? What's the latest on rebates and charging stations? Is there a way to buy into a community solar project to reduce your electric bills?

Monday, April 22nd state legislators Mollie Burke and Emilie Kornheiser will discuss environmental legislation that has been passed at the state level in the current session, and legislation that is still pending. They will be joined by John Woodland of Third Act Vermont, an organization of seniors, started by Bill McKibben, to promote environmental stewardship and address climate change.
