Lilac Cleanup Workday at UVM Hort Farm SATURDAY, April 20, 10-12

Spring is here. Help the Friends of the Horticulture Farm attack the invasive vines and weeds overwhelming our 100+ lilacs at the Hort Farm. Work beside curator Kitty Werner to prepare these budding shrubs to be their best for showing at our Bloom Time on May 25. Bring your gloves, loppers, pruners, hand saw and Cape Cod weeder. It's a big job but the lilacs will thank you with their awesome display in May.

INVASIVES WORKDAY at the UVM Hort Farm
SATURDAY, April 27, 10-12
Help the Friends of the Horticulture Farm attack the invasive species at the Hort Farm,
while you learn about combatting these species, how to identify them, and ways to stop
their spread. We'll go after invasives on the upper branches down to the ground level.
Bring your gloves and tools, such as loppers, pruners, hand saw and Cape Cod weeder.
