Join the Royalton Community Garden for our annual Earth Day event Sunday, April 21st from noon - 2:00pm!

Come enjoy community connections, learn new organic gardening skills, and help get the Royalton Community Garden started for the growing season! There will be talks on compost and soil health, refreshments provided by the Community Garden Committee, and plenty of garden activities focused on starting seeds, turning compost, preparing plots for planting, and more!

The Royalton Community Garden is run by a group of volunteers who manage the garden's "Open Space", which helps feed our surrounding communities through weekly donations to local Food Shelves. Come get your hands in the dirt in a way that gives back and builds local food security and climate resilience this Earth Day!

The garden is located on S. Windsor street in South Royalton, just past the WRV school next to the sports field. Please come prepared to spend your time outside doing light to medium physical activity. All tools and equipment will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to come with gloves, water bottles, and proper workwear.
