Rockingham Vermont Green Up Weekend
As residents we know how special Vermont is in our Galaxy. This May the 4th, join hundreds of other Jedi litter clean up volunteers in keeping Vermont's rivers and roads clear of trash. Green Up Vermont's mission is to keep environmental stewardship exciting and rewarding for all.
Rockingham Green Up Weekend Details
Green Up Dates: Friday May 3 – Sunday May 5
Green Up Bag Pick-Up Locations: Saxtons River Village Market, Lisai's Market, J&H Hardware, Rockingham Town Clerk's Office, and new this year Rockingham Free Public Library
Disposing of Bags: Green-up bags will be collected by the Town of Rockingham Highway Department on Monday, May 6. Bags can be placed on the side of the road for pickup. Please note that only green up day bags can be used and left by the side of the road. Please tie up bags before leaving them so the bags don't spill all over the road and ruin all of your hard work.
Green Up Groups Around Rockingham: Look for upcoming opportunities to join a group in cleaning up some hot spots around town.
