First we'll meet at the historic 1874 one room Jerusalem Schoolhouse (on Jerusalem Rd) in South Starksboro behind the country store for a geology lesson by a local geologist. Also, find out about the current plans for this town community center (and maybe you'll win a chance to ring the bell!) Then we'll drive a short distance to the start of the roughly 3 mile road walk -let's see how many rocks of all sizes we can spot! One monster rock is in a field so boots are handy. This is a family friendly event, bring snacks and water and is held rain or shine. Meet your neighbors, learn the local farming history, take in the mountain views, discover wildflowers, birds, water rivulets and other delights of Spring! Questions-call Cecilia 802.377.7196. PS: The JSH hosts WiFi, a Little Free Pantry, a magical Little Free Library and Fire Station No2!
