The Vermont Agency of Natural Resources (ANR) will host a public meeting on April 30th
from 6-8 pm to present a draft amendment to the Willoughby State Forest long-range management plan. A presentation of the draft plan and in person public comment opportunity will be held on April 30th, 6-8pm, Sutton Village School, 95 Underpass Road, Sutton, Vermont.
Developed collaboratively with the Vermont Horse Council, the proposed amendment seeks to enhance equestrian opportunities while ensuring sustainable land management practices.
It includes plans to open approximately 14.5 miles of existing roads and trails for equestrian use and establish a new overnight parking area in the southern portion of Willoughby State Forest.
