Green Up Day is celebrating its 54th year of roadside clean up throughout Vermont on Saturday, May 4th. Folks of all ages can participate by getting outside and helping to clean up miles of Vermont roads.
You can pick up bags the week of Green Up Day at Brown and Roberts and the Chamber of Commerce in Brattleboro, Brooks Memorial Library and the Brattleboro Food Co-op.
Tables will be set up on Saturday, May 4th at the Turning Point of Windham County (Flat & Elm), M&T Bank on Canal Street, Subaru on Putney Road and the West Brattleboro Fire Department lawn.
There will also be a fundraising car wash at Burtons, Putney Road, on Thursday May 2nd from 11-1:00. Proceeds to benefit Green Up Day.
