Sheffield is required to update the Town Plan every ten years and the process is under way. The Sheffield Planning Commission will hold its second of three Town Plan update meetings on the 17th of April at the Municipal Building at 6 PM. Jesse Noone, Municipal & Regional Planner at NVDA, will be presenting. The meeting will:
• introduce residents to the updated schedule for the Town Plan, and what the plan will try to accomplish.
• Present an overview of the Village Center Designation and its possible development in Sheffield through the town plan
• Entertain discussions on how to deal, in the new town plan, with the town's abandoned buildings, and the accumulation of trash and garbage on some properties.

Residents are invited to attend and help with ideas, suggestions, and plan content.
