Invasive Species Management Basics - Enhance the landscape and improve animal habitat on your property!

Gardens at Yellow Barn Farm in Arlington is offering a 'hands-on' one hour primer on how to manage invasive honey suckle, burning bush and garlic mustard. Learn how to identify these invasive species and how to properly manage them. Wear footwear for walking in woods. Lopers, pruning sheers and/or a trowel are handy but not necessary. Tick repellent highly encouraged. BRING GLOVES!

Dottie Sundquist, UVM Extension Master Gardener, will demo a tool which makes makes the chore easy and rewarding. Parking is adjacent to the woods - Very short distance and flat. No restrooms.
