Hello Neighbors! Join me at Quinlan's Covered Bridge on Monday, April 15th for a garden cleanup. We will be gathering (rain or shine) between 3:00 and 5:00 to clear away last year's spent foliage. Please bring your own sheers and loppers. A shovel and gloves might be helpful for some light weeding. Parking is available on either side of the bridge. This opportunity does qualify for Master Gardener volunteers hours.
If you have some plants you are clearing from your own yard, consider donating splits of bee balm, echinacea or other pollinator friendly perennials. I'm happy to add them to this beautiful site! Reach out to me directly if you have questions or plants you'd like to offer.
If you can't make it, you can join me at the end of Lewis Creek rd on Wednesday, April 17 or Friday, April 19 at the Philo/Spear garden for more garden work.
