 Intro to Rug Hooking with Stephanie Allen-Krauss
$90 ($55 + $35 for kit)
Join Stephanie Allen-Kraus of Green Mountain Hooked Rugs for an educational and relaxing afternoon of rug hooking. Class content includes basic technique, helpful tips and suggestions, and ways to keep your body safe and healthy while rug hooking. Through lecture, demonstration and hand-on work, students will experience this historic craft while working on a small project to take home. Stephanie has been teaching all aspects of rug hooking for many years and will display some of our rugs as well as share some of the history of rug hooking. Additional kits, supplies, and equipment will be available for purchase and equipment will be loaned to beginners to use during the class. Even if you are not a beginner, you are welcome to come and brush up on your technique and enjoy the camaraderie of other rug hookers.
