Richmond Elementary School’s Farm to School Program invites you to celebrate local farms and food at the Fifth Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the West Monitor Barn in Richmond. There will be loads of activities including grinding corn and grain, blending bike-powered smoothies, making pizza, crafts and much more. Enjoy a local lunch and dessert, listen to live music, and bid on great items in a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit our Farm to School Program, helping us purchase local food and provide farm, food, and nutrition education in our classrooms, cafeteria, and community.
