Bring the whole family to a kid-centered wetland exploration! Join Women and Our Woods VT (WOW-VT) for an exciting adventure discovering the vital miniature ecosystem of vernal pools. In this workshop, you and your family will have a chance to explore mossy covered logs, tree stumps, and the famous vernal pools that are critical habitat for countless organisms. From amphibian eggs to insect larvae to fungal communities, this day will undoubtedly be fruitful with discoveries no matter what we find. Our leaders will guide us on how to care for these important places and teach us interesting facts about them.
