The Local Folk Orchestra is a collective of players at all points in their musical journeys, from young students to locally-known lifelong performers. Roy MacNeil founded the group as a way to bring musicians from various walks of life together, and to support his vision for excellent, truly home-grown performances right here in the Northeast Kingdom.
The Civic Standard is excited to be working with Roy and the Orchestra to bring a wildly diverse and joyful concert to St. Norbert's Church in Hardwick on Sunday, April 28th at 4pm. The performance will include a special appearance by the Bell Choir from the United Church of Hardwick. The music program will end with a community supper served by the Civic. No reservations required, and entry is pay-what-you-decide, with a suggested donation price of $10 per person.
