Lamoille North Revised FY25 Elementary Budget Information Meeting & Budget Vote April 15 & April 16
Good afternoon, neighbors. I'm a member of the Lamoille North Modified Unified Union School District School Board. This week, we officially warned an Information Meeting and public vote for the revised FY25 MUUSD Elementary Budget.
The Information Meeting, a crucial opportunity for community engagement, is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Monday, April 15th, in the Community Education Center on the Lamoille Union Campus. The revised budget will be voted for on Tuesday, April 16th, for taxpayers in Belvidere, Eden, Hyde Park, Johnson, and Waterville at their community's typical polling locations and times.
The LNMUUSD School Board, along with district and school leadership, identified nearly $360,000 in cuts to the MUUSD Elementary Budget, which represents a 2.26% reduction compared to the budget initially brought to voters on Town Meeting Day.
The revised FY25 Elementary Budget amount currently stands at $15,995,730. This amount represents the education and opportunities offered to students living in the towns listed above.
