The Vermont Old Cemetery Association (aka VOCA) will hold its annual spring meeting on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at St. Peter's Parish Hall in Vergennes. Community members are welcome to attend. Reservations are required and if you are joining us for lunch the cost is $12.50. Please make reservations by April 27th, your check should be made payable to St. Peter's Church and mailed to Jeanne Jackson, 420 Jackson Road, Panton, VT 05491-9734.

9:00 – 10:00 Social Hour (coffee, tea and pastries)

10:00 - 12 Noon Business Meeting

12 Noon Lunch
Soup Bar: Corn Chowder (gluten free), Tomato Mac n Beef, Chicken & Rice Soup (gluten free) and Tomato Soup (vegetarian): Salad Bar; Assorted breads and crackers; Cookies and Assorted beverages.

Vermont Representative Anne Donahue will be the guest speaker on her efforts to preserve the Waterbury State Hospital burial grounds.

VOCA was established to assist in the restoration of Vermont's oldest cemetery, those devastated by natural disasters, advocate at all government levels and much more. Locally VOCA has helped at the Hawley Cemetery in Panton, St. Peter's Cemetery in Vergennes and will be at the Vergennes Burying Ground on Saturday, May 18th from 8 AM to 12:30 PM.
