Let's beautify Rutland! Seasoned and aspiring gardeners are invited to join community members in learning how to invite more pollinators into our yards! We'll be learning how to convert lawn space into important pollinator habitat. Here is a PegTV video about the event: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5F4zyU4fTs
Our teachers: Pollinator Pathways is an organization of volunteers whose mission it is to promote public and private pesticide free corridors of native plants that provide nutrition and habitat for pollinating insects and birds.
This Tuesday, April 16th, from 6-7:30 PM at the Fox Room of the Rutland Free Library, volunteers from Pollinator Pathways of Addison County will inspire and educate you about the need to restore and connect habitat for native pollinators.
There will be Question and Answer opportunities following the presentation. Additional information will be available from Rutland County Audubon Society. Refreshments will be served. This event is sponsored by 350 Rutland County.
