Saturday, May 4th is Green Up Vermont Day.
Green Up Vermont is a state-wide volunteer cleanup day of Vermont's roads and waterways. Mark your calendars to join other volunteers to green up the community. Interest is high again this year (thank you!) and the Town of Poultney is partnering with the Lake St. Catherine Association and D&H Rail Trail Council to organize volunteers.
Green Up Day bags are available for pickup at the Poultney Town Office. Stop by to sign up in person or be in touch with the Lake St. Catherine Association (info@lakestcatherine.org) to let them know the roads (or sections of roads) you'd like to work on. They'll add you to their volunteer map online at: https://lakestcatherine.org/event-5610423.
Full details on the statewide event can be found at https://greenupvermont.org/. Questions about Poultney's Green Up Day can be sent to Sarah at poultneyeconomic@gmail.com.
Thank you for helping to keep Vermont green!
