Quick update from SAFD2: Phase 2 continues to make good progress. We expect the final design details to be wrapped up next Monday, 4/15. We are preparing for the bidding process which we'd like to initiate ASAP, perhaps this month? At last month's meeting there was some confusion as to when we need commitments for hook-up to Phase 2. It is a State/Federal requirement to have the minimum number of users contracted to proceed with bidding process. As a result, we need everyone that intends to use the nice, clean drinking water supplied by SAFD2 to sign up NOW for Phase 2. We must have at least 85 contracts in place to proceed (active customers). We have about 50 so we need to get everyone engaged that is considering.
