Currently, more than 6 million people in the United States are living with Alzheimer's disease, and over 11 million individuals serve as their unpaid caregivers. This growing health crisis impacts numerous people in our communities.
Join Jordan Cotto, a Program Manager from the Vermont Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, for a brief and informative program. In this program, you will learn about the impact of Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, as well as local resources available to you. Additionally, you will discover ways in which you can join the fight against Alzheimer's and dementia.
Jordan joined the Vermont Chapter in October 2021, bringing a strong passion for recruiting, training, and education.
In 2005 Jordan moved to Seattle, WA, and worked for PROVAIL in Supported Employment as an Employment Consultant and later Program Manager, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities with employment and retention.
In 2016 Jordan and her family moved back to Vermont to live closer to family. Jordan worked at Howard Center as a Program Manager and Team Lead, supporting individuals with dual diagnoses of mental health and developmental disability with accessing resources for housing, community support, medical needs, and clinical, and transportation needs.
Jordan was born and raised in Fairfax, Vermont, and resides in South Burlington. She enjoys spending time with her boys, Quinn and Vincent, spending time with friends, and with a very large family in Vermont and Massachusetts. Jordan enjoys walking and yoga, writing, hikes, and loves the beach.
