We will be having a refugee family from Afghanistan arriving in Richmond in the next 4-8 weeks. Please join us in person or virtually at the Richmond Free Library to learn about this family, how they are connected to Richmond and how the community can help them to transition to a very different life in the United states. We will share what we know about the family, their connections to Richmond and then do some brainstorming of what their needs will be. People can provide their contact info, and how they are interested in helping. This is a first step in organizing support for their transition to a new life.! Please consider joining us!
