The Local Folk Orchestra is an eclectic band of musicians based in the Greensboro / Hardwick area, started by Roy MacNeil in 2023. Our group features a unique mix of student performers and seasoned professionals who tackle a wide variety of different genres and blend them seamlessly together.
After performing to an enthusiastic capacity audience at the Highland Center for the Arts April 6, we have arranged for a second performance in Plainfield, where we will also feature Vermont singer-songwriter Jess O'Brien. Jess is an up-and-coming musician from Plainfield whose songs reflect her own unique style, blending the Blues, Country, and Americana into a sweet & compelling mix.
