Community Action for Severe Weather Preparedness

Vermont Interfaith Action's local organizing committee, Bennington Organizing and Action, invites you to a Community Action on Sunday, April 14th, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at 2nd Congregational Church (115 Hillside St). Doors open at 5:30pm.

This Community Action will present the research of BOA on the issue of severe weather preparedness in Bennington; especially how it impacts our most vulnerable populations: the unhoused/insecurely housed, the financially vulnerable, youths, elderly, and medically compromised individuals. We will present our research to the public and make requests of our public officials to improve and expand our current response to severe weather events.
