10th Annual Wheels for Warmth Fundraiser!
Wheels for Warmth is an annual fundraiser for the Warmth Program; donated your gently used tires for resale, or bring in your old tires for recycling; all proceeds benefit the Warmth Program.
Tire Collection: Casella’s Waste Management, 220 Avenue B, Williston, Thursday, October 23rd and Friday, October 24th, from 3:00 – 7:00 pm.
Tire Sale: Saturday, October 25th 7 a.m. - 1 p.m., DuBois Construction on Three Mile Bridge Road in Montpelier
Tires donated for resale need a 2/23” tread remaining (so they are good for another year’s use). No charge to drop these off, the resale value benefits Warmth!
There is a $4.00 per tire charge for tires being dropped off for recycling.
Warmth is a statewide program that provides financial assistance to lower income families who are in danger of losing their electricity or running out of home heating fuel. The Warmth Program is entirely donation-based; run by local Community Action Agencies, it helps thousands of families every year stay safe and warm in their homes during the winter season.
