Hello Old North End & Downtown neighbors!

This Thursday evening, April 11, join your neighbors for a delicious community dinner with live music, followed by the Wards 2 & 3 Neighborhood Planning Assembly (NPA) meeting.

This month's NPA meeting has many different community updates - from a discussion with newly elected City officials, to NPA fund allocation, the Feeding Chittenden expansion, and more.

The NPA meeting is 6:30 - 8:36pm. It's a packed night because of the election and other very important and exciting agenda items!

The agenda:

6:30pm - The NPA meeting will start with the usual: intros, announcements, and 10 minutes of public forum.

6:50pm - Christine Hughes from the Richard Kemp Center will share about an upcoming trip to the National Museum of African American History and Culture and how the community can support.

6:55pm - We will hear an update from our reps on the Community Development Block Grant board.

7:05pm - Come with your questions for the Wards 2 & 3 City Councilors, as well as School Commissioner Polly Vanderputten in a brief community discussion.

7:25pm - Hear from community member Lisa Scofield about her cleanup efforts on her street, which will hopefully inspire how you can help on your own street!

7:35pm - The Steering Committee will present our proposal for allocation of the NPA funds and how you can share your input.

7:55pm - CVOEO & Champlain Housing Trust will present on the proposed expansion of the Feeding Chittenden building and gather feedback from the NPA.

8:15pm - Emily Piersiak from DPW will share information on the Water Line Assessment and inventory being performed in line with EPA & State regulations.

We'll wrap up around 8:30pm.
