Come this Saturday night to see the Local Folk Orchestra at the Town Hall Opera House in Plainfield! From the NEK, the Local Folk Orchestra is a collective of players at all points in their musical journeys, from young students to locally-known lifelong performers. Roy MacNeil founded the group at the start of 2023 as a way to bring musicians from various walks of life together, and to support his vision for excellent, accessible performances in rural Vermont.
They are known for seamlessly weaving many different styles together including Classical, American folk, Klezmer, Jazz, traditional French Canadian and much more, for a unique and joyful concert experience unlike any other!
