GREEN UP DAY - MAY 4, 2024
The first Saturday in May is the annual Vermont tradition to pick up roadside litter. In 2023, Williston collected 1.79 tons and 42 tires (down from 1.93 tons & 71 tires in 2022). Can we beat our record??

1. Pick a route and/or build a team on the Green Up Day app

2. Get bags! April 22-May 3: Limited daily allotment available at 24/7 self-serve station at Town Hall Annex, 7878 Williston Road. May 4: get bags at the Town Fair on Village Green, 9am-1pm.

3. Go green up! Leave filled bags and large, unbagged items like tires on the side of a state or town road. Williston DPW picks up on Monday, May 6.

4. Attend Town Fair!

TOWN FAIR ON GREEN UP DAY
9am-1pm, Village Green, 40 Central School Drive
Stop by before or after greening up Williston for snacks, coffee, giveaways, Library story time (10:30am), Town Band concert (12-1pm), and more. Event participants include REI, Williston Observer, Rotary Club, Habitat for Humanity, and more announcements coming soon!

9am - Bags & coffee available, Town Fair begins
10:30-11am - Library story time
12-1pm - Town Band concert
1pm- Town Fair concludes; Pollinator program at DAML

ADVERTISE AT TOWN FAIR COMMUNITY TABLE
Would you like to promote your local organization, group, non-profit, or business for free? Poster(8.5x11)/flyers/coupons can be dropped off at the Planning & Zoning Office, 7878 Williston Road, no later than noon on Wednesday, April 3rd. They will be displayed at the Community Table.
