On Wednesday April 17, the Williston Democratic Committee will hold a caucus to elect 10 delegates from Williston to represent our town at the 2024 Vermont Democratic Convention.

When: 4/17 from 7:00-8:00pm

To be eligible to be a town delegate, there are 2 requirements:

- You need to be a member of the town's Democratic committee (we can vote in any non-member at the meeting if there's anyone interested who's not currently a member)
- You need to have voted on a Democratic ballot in the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary.

At the state convention, delegates will have voting privileges to elect 11 District-level delegates to represent Vermont at the Democratic National Convention and Vermont's Democratic National Committee members.

There'll be additional trainings and events that day, including:

-Grassroots Training: from 9am - 12pm, three tracks of training on organizing, elections, fundraising, outreach, communications, and more. Training is free and open to all, and we encourage everyone to take advantage of it.

-Young Democrats Convention & Lunch: from 12pm - 1pm, the Vermont Young Democrats will host lunch and their own annual convention, electing new officers and working to ensure the future of the Vermont Democratic Party

-Vermont Democratic Convention: from 1pm - 4pm, town delegates from across the state will gather to kick off the 2024 election season, choose delegates to represent Vermont at the Democratic National Convention, and elect two Democratic National Committee members for four years of national service.
