We're thrilled to present an eclectic array of pieces in this year's program, all penned by talented local playwrights – join us as we bring these original works to life on the stage! Performances take place Thursday May 31 through Sunday June 2 at Williamsville Hall.
PIECES TO BE CAST:
Bacchus' Bar & Grill
→ Written by Michael Nethercott, Directed by Sue Kelly
→ A humorous glimpse into a regular evening at a bar frequented by Greek & Roman deities.
→ Roles: 3 men + 3 women, age ranges flexible
Triangle
→ Written & Directed by Patrick Keppel
→ Years after the fact, a survivor of the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire explore the tragedy's legacy.
→ Roles: 2 women in their 30s + 2 women in their late teens/early 20s
Clown
→ Written by Bob Culinane, Directed by Tracy Berchi
→ An IT guy and a clown show up to a job interview with very different understandings of the position they've applied for.
→ Roles: 1 middle-aged man + 4 adults of any age/gender
A Boy's Will
→ Written by Kevin Stine, Directed by Randy Lichtenwalner
→ Three college boys trek in search of Robert Frost's poetic enlightenment, and end up finding something quite different.
→ 1 man 65 or older + 3 college-aged men
The Required Man
→ Written & Directed by Michael Nethercott
→ In the late 1930s, estranged siblings find themselves reunited and facing the prospect of the world's end.
→ 1 woman in her 30s-40s + 3 men in their 20s-50s
