Vermont Arts Exchange (VAE) and its Basement Music Series is happy to announce Coffee House Jazz !
These two separate April evening concerts of great jazz start at 7:30 with a wonderful dinner option to feast on the Pangaea menu at your concert table.
Concerts take place at the Prospect Coffee House in North Bennington and features revolving musicians each night. Come hear from the best area artists playing old school, contemporary and original jazz compositions in a great, intimate listening room, worthy of the candlelit, vintage jazz rooms that exist throughout history.
Saturday, April 13th features Dave Cuite-bass, Wayne Hawkins-piano, Matt Steckler-woodwinds, Jeff McRae-drums
Saturday, April 27th features Matt Steckler – woodwinds, Eugene Uman – keyboards, Dave Picchi – basses, Jon Fisher - drums and cymbals
Music starts at 7:30 but doors open for dinner seating from 5-6:30.
Dinner of course is optional and Prospect bar open.

VAE encourages all young musicians out there to consider coming by offering a $10. student ticket. This is a great opportunity to watch, observe and meet the musicians after! Keeping jazz alive and thriving is a driving force behind a lot of these artists, many, excellent music educators as well as performers.
