The next meeting of the Newbury Book Discussion Group will be Thursday, May 2nd, 7-8PM at the Tenney Memorial Library. Due to the weather-related cancellation of our meeting last week, we will be discussing TWO (yes, 2!) books - our selection for April, "The Vaster Wilds" by Lauren Groff AND our selection for May, "How Far the Light Reaches : A Life in Ten Sea Creatures" by Sabrina Imbler. In regard to Imbler's book, a reviewer on Amazon writes, " In each chapter of her memoir, author Sabrina Imbler tells two stories at once: the story of an exotic sea creature rendered in gorgeous, otherworldly detail...and the story of a human creature, the author herself, rendered in poetic, tender detail." Copies of each of these books are available through interlibrary loan from your local library. We'll have lots to discuss! Join us.

PS - For those who like to plan ahead, our book selection for June is local author Helen Labun's mystery novel, "J. Green & the DiDis." Copies of this book will be available at the Tenney Memorial Library and on Kindle.
