Lincoln Library Eclipse Party
Monday April 8th: stop by anytime after 2 pm to watch the event unfold!

We are in the southernmost part of the path of totality, which means that if the weather is kind we will see the shadow of our moon completely cover the sun. There will be eclipse themed snacks and activities, so bring a chair if the weather is good, and wear some boots to walk around on our big west facing (probably snowy/ wet) field.

To aid in safe viewing, we have eclipse glasses, materials to make a pinhole box viewer, safety binoculars and a very special refracting telescope. Thanks to the ECHO center!

At 2:14 p.m., the partial solar eclipse begins in Vermont, and at 3:26 p.m., a total eclipse will darken Vermont's daytime sky, lasting about 1 and a half minutes in our area. And yes, we still have eclipse glasses to give away!
