This is one of 2 special Parks Commission Meetings addressing the changes to dog rules in

Hubbard Park. There will be a chance for public comment at both this 4/9 meeting and the subsequent 5/7 meeting. The Commission will vote on a decision at the 5/7 meeting.

One proposal would split the Park into two zones, "north" and "south" of the Park Manager House.

The proposal would:
Designate the Northern zone (including 7 fireplaces, cliffside, streamside, narrow and steep trail, new parcel trails) off-leash dogs at all times
- Designate the Southern zone (including Tower Trails, Accessible Trail, ball field, sledding hill, shelters) of the park to be on-leash at all times.
