When: April 11-16, 2024

In our continuing effort to support needy families in our area due to the continuing prevalence of food insecurity, which, per area food banks, is particularly acute right now, the Peacham Congregational Church is hosting its Winter food drive for non-perishable products. Drive-through on Saturday, April 13, 11:00-1:00, or simply drop off anytime between Thursday, April 11 through Tuesday April 16. Especially needed are cereal, sugar, soups (chicken noodle, vegetable), pork and beans, mac and cheese, cookies, crackers, canned pasta, canned fruit, and jello/pudding. To make your donation, simply drive to the back of the church, where there will be attendants to serve you on Saturday during the above hours, or, anytime Thursday-Tuesday, drop off donations in the collection baskets in the breezeway behind the kitchen. Any items in addition to those distributed to identified families will go to the Danville Food Shelf. We hope to see you on Saturday the 13th, or to see your donations at the other times, and we are very grateful for your donations to help support, comfort, and, especially, nourish local families.
