The 6th Annual Indian Dinner to Benefit Child Haven

Past event
Oct 25, 2014, 6 PM

The 6th Annual Indian Dinner to benefit Child Haven will take place at
Hardwick's Hazen Union High School at 6PM on October 25th.

Master Chef Sikander Rashid will once again oversee the preparation of a fabulous meal.

Dancer/Performer/Comedian, Avi Waring, will preside over an evening featuring an
all-new Sari and Lunghi Fashion Show, a Silent Auction featuring Exotic South Asian and Local Items,
Tabla Maestro Michael Lew-Smith, Sale Table, and a rumored Flashmob Dance to the incredibly popular tune Jai Ho from the film Slumdog Millionaire.

Child Haven Directors, Fred and Bonnie Cappuccino will be on hand to share information about Child Haven's Homes for 1,300 formerly destitute children in India, Nepal, Tibet and Bangladesh and
Hardwick's Kayla Winslow, who recently spent three months as a volunteer-intern at Child Haven's Home in Hyderabad, India will reminisce about her experiences with the children there.

This Dinner often sells out, so advance ticket purchases or reservations at the
Buffalo Mountain Co-op in Hardwick are recommended (802-472-6020)

There are lots of opportunities to help cook, set-up, clean, put up posters, be in the Fashion Show and more information on those activities can be found at the Co-op or by calling Robin at 533-2296 or Rachel at 413-250-6204
This is always a delicious and fun event. We hope to see you there!
