Want to learn more about domestic violence, how it impacts our community, and how you can be an advocate for change? Join Steps to End Domestic Violence at our spring Community Advocate Training starting April 24th!
This comprehensive training will give you the necessary tools to support folks experiencing domestic violence in your life and community. We will explore the ways in which we are all capable of perpetrating power based violence, and we will provide you with the language to educate your loved ones about the intersections of domestic violence, racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, xenophobia, and poverty.
This 20-hour training consists of at-home, self-paced pre-work followed by in-person meetings for community processing and conversation. At the end of this training, you will gain Vermont's statewide Crisis Worker Privilege.
