There will be ample time for Speakout and discussion with our elected officials. Councilors Tim Doherty and Carter Neubieser will catch us up on issues the Council is working on. Then Lisa Kingsbury from UVM will come to discuss their new housing development project, Catamount Woods, located just over the border in South Burlington by the Doubletree.
We will also get a wrap on this year's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Advisory Committee work (Jake Schumann), and Samantha Ayotte will start a conversation about municipal boards and commissions. Participating as part of a city commission is a fantastic way to learn about, contribute to, and engage in our community, and the better we understand how it all works, the better we can contribute and improve the quality of life of all our residents.
