April 11 - Public Forum Brookfield Town Plan Readoption

The Brookfield Planning Commission recently began its review of the Brookfield Town Plan and is hosting a public forum to hear from community members about components of the Plan. Under state law a municipal Town Plan must be readopted every eight years to receive state funding and grants and the current Town Plan is set to expire fall, 2024.

The Town Plans is not a zoning, regulatory documents, but rather visionary document that sets out a picture for the future of a town, and sets clear goals relating to things such as economic development, housing needs, infrastructure, and environmental health.
