The amazing nurses at the UVM infusion center are throwing a cancer fundraiser at Higher Ground on Saturday night from 5pm to 10pm. The fashion runway show starts at 6pm. The nurses will be modeling their self-designed, "fashionable" chemo gowns which is sure to inspire a lot of laughter.
Tickets are only $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Light appetizers will be served and there will be a cash bar. A silent auction will also take place.
Nearly four out of 10 Vermonters will develop cancer in their lifetime. Your attendance does make a difference -- both to the nurses who have worked so hard to make this a successful event and the patients who benefit from the programs supported by this fundraiser.
