Hi Essex Junction neighbors! My name is Jess and I live in the "Southview Estates" neighborhood. My daughter Callie and I are just two among 300 volunteers working behind the scenes with Lyric Theatre Company to present The Wizard of Oz (April 11-14) at the Flynn Theater in Burlington. Callie is a city counselor munchkin and I have painted many of the amazing sets! This will mark Lyric's 101st show, in its 50th year of bringing musical theater productions to the Flynn stage. With a cast of 55 (19 of which are children) from all over Vermont, as well as a very well-trained dog actor playing Toto, this is a really unbelievable production which you won't want to miss.
