At its meeting this Wednesday April 3rd the Paine Mountain School District board, governing public schools in Northfield and Williamstown, is being asked to approve potential Reductions in Force for the FY 25 school year. These RIFs are in case the school budget revote on April 16th fails. The budget to be voted on on April 16th, while it includes cuts from the Town Meeting Day budget, does not eliminate the jobs of any existing staff.
