UVM Classics presents their Spring production of Tantalids. Tantalids tells the story of the royal descendants of Tantalus through the ages by combining Aeschylus's Agamemnon and Seneca the Younger's Thyestes. These two ancient tragedies depict the curse of the house, gained by their forefather, Tantalus, for feeding some of his children to the gods in a feast. The plot of Tantalids continues the gory story of the family through two later generations around the time of the Trojan War.
