Online Design Workshop, East & West Villages Project

Past event
Apr 10, 2024, 6 to 8 PM

If you missed the March 16 workshop at the Congregational Church, here's your opportunity to help shape future plans for Charlotte's historic East and West Villages.

Please join us for the virtual Community Design Workshop on Wednesday, April 10 from 6-8 p.m. (online only via Zoom). Come use your design and community-building skills to guide plans for future development of Charlotte's East and West Villages. This is the next in a series of opportunities for the project team to hear directly from the residents about their hopes, ideas and concerns about how the villages function & what could be better.

This workshop will harness community energy to develop ideas for safe and attractive street designs, public spaces, parking areas, building types and locations, and alternatives for active transportation. There will be breakout groups for those most interested in the East Village or West Village. (Please Note: the content and process for this online workshop will be very similar to the March 16 event. So if you participated at that event, rest assured that your input and ideas have already been noted & will be included in the planning process, going forward. Consider letting others have their say this time around.)

The workshop agenda, with a Zoom login link, will be posted under the date on the town website's 'Meeting Calendar & Agendas' page within the next week. For more information, see the project website linked below. If you would like to be notified of future events and opportunities related to this project, sign up for email notifications at the town website's 'Get Involved' page, here: https://charlottevt.org/index.asp?SEC=1735E6C6-D359-45F8-BBA9-0B61F938B438. Hope to see you there!
