The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC), in partnership with the Town of Richmond, invites you to attend the first public meeting of the Cochran Road Corridor Study (Study). The purpose of the Study is to identify new multimodal infrastructure and traffic calming techniques that could be implemented at either end of Cochran Road in Richmond Village and Jonesville and along the Cochran Road corridor to improve safety, capacity, and connectivity, based on public feedback. The public is encouraged to participate in all phases of the Study, starting with the Local Concerns Meeting. The goal of the Local Concerns Meeting is to gather input on local concerns, multimodal needs, and ideas to develop alternative solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to share your concerns and suggestions to enhance Cochran Road.

The Local Concerns Meeting will include a short presentation that outlines the Study's purpose and current conditions, followed by a brainstorming and strategizing session to engage the community. We invite you to participate in this meeting and share your ideas and concerns to create a better future for the corridor.

In accordance with provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, as amended, the CCRPC will ensure public meetings are accessible to all people. Requests for free interpretive or translation services, assistive devices, or other requested reasonable accommodations, should be made to Emma Vaughn, CCRPC Title VI Coordinator, at 802-846-4490 ext. 121 or evaughn@ccrpcvt.org, at least 3 business days prior to the meeting for which services are requested.

Can't make it to the meeting, but still want to contribute? We want to hear from you! Please reach out to Jason Charest, CCRPC Senior Transportation Planning Engineer, at jcharest@ccrpcvt.org or 802-861-0127 or Keith Oborne, Town of Richmond Director of Planning and Zoning, at koborne@richmondvt.gov or 802-336-2289.
