Dear Westford Community,
The Pickle Pandas are hosting their first in-person fundraiser next weekend. A bottle drive is scheduled for Saturday, April 6th from 9 am to 12 pm at Minor's Country Store. Please save up your bottles and cans and mark your calendars!
For those of you who don't know, the Pickle Pandas are a Westford Robotics team that has been chosen to represent the state of Vermont in the Western Edge Open competition held in California from May 31st to June 2nd.
With over 50,000 teams worldwide competing for one of the few spots to move on, this is a point of pride for our students, school, town, and state. These students have put in almost 90 hours of extra-curricular effort and have honed their engineering, coding, and problem-solving skills in order to create projects that will better the STEM community. They are now raising funds so that they can continue their journey in California.
They are also still looking for business sponsors. If you own a local business, please consider supporting our team! All sponsors will be featured prominently on our online team media and team materials at the competition. If a monetary commitment is unfeasible, we are also accepting gift certificates, experiences, or other items that we could raffle. If you'd like to donate individually, please don't hesitate to reach out to me, Jessica Moreland (fundraising lead) or Mark Drapa (head coach).
We hope to see you at the bottle drive. Thank you so much for your support!
