The Cornwall Conservation Commission invites you to sign up for a free guided nature walk with the founder of the VT Master Naturalist program, Alicia Daniel.
While walking through grasslands and woodlands, Alicia will share the 'layer cake' approach to understanding natural communities. We will explore how the unique geology and
glacial past of the Champlain Valley determines our soils which influences what plants grow and what animals thrive and how human land use, over thousands of years, can be seen on our landscape.
The walk will take place in Cornwall and is limited to 20 people, 16yo and up. There will be some uneven terrain but no steep areas.
Please email Andrea at olokaandrea@gmail.com to sign up. Additional information will be provided to those registering. In case of severe weather, the walk will take place on Sunday, April 21st.
