Free Community Event! Book Launch of Alan S. Kessler's new novel, BODY ON ICE, based on a true story, the 1919 murder in Barre of a young mother of three.
A man was convicted of the crime but was he really the killer?
Mr. Kessler will discuss the events of 1919 that changed this country and are part of the plot of his book, summarize the facts about the Lucina Broadwell murder, and read an excerpt from BODY ON ICE. Refreshments will be served, all made according to early 20th century recipes.
