Students in the Local Sustainable Food Systems course at Sterling will again be preparing and serving dinner this Friday night in Dunbar Dining Hall! The meal runs from 4:30-6:00pm, and is free and welcome to anyone in the greater Craftsbury area.

This week's menu takes us to a place much warmer and sunnier (and likely less muddy):

Jamaican Jerk Lamb and Chicken, with lamb from the Sterling College Farm, and chicken from our friends Hannah and Bill at Pearce's Pastured Poultry on Hillside Farm. We'll serve the meat with our take on Callaloo, a stewed spinach dish featuring our fresh spinach from the garden, and tossed with roasted sweet potatoes and plantains. On the side we'll have rice and peas and Caribbean Coco bread. Dessert is flan! All diets are accommodated on our alternative line.

We will again be accepting monetary donations that will go to the Student Tuition Fund - these donations go directly to student financial aid for current and incoming students. We will also have a donation bin for household items, books and clothes. Dinner starts at 4:30 - we hope to see you there!
